With a fitted bodice, gathered skirt and inner pockets, The Day Dress will be one of the prettiest dresses in your wardrobe.

With three ways of making the front bodice, your options are endless. All views have an invisible zip at the back. Have fun making this pattern out of a variety of fabrics.

View A has a seam at the centre front.
View B has buttons at the centre front.
View C has no seam at the centre front.

Suggested Fabrics

Lightweight to medium weight fabrics are perfect for this pretty dress. Not suitable for stripes, diagonals or plaids. Always allow extra fabric to match one way designs.

Supplies

View A & C - Fabric, thread, 56cm/22" invisible zipper, 1m elastic (6mm wide).
View B - Fabric, thread, 56cm/22" invisible zipper, 1m elastic (6mm wide), x6 1.5cm buttons, buttonhole presser foot, 0.50m iron on interfacing.

Encased in a beautiful re-closable envelope, you'll receive one copy of the sewing pattern sheet printed on high quality 60gsm sewing pattern paper, a photographed step-by-step a5 instruction book, a guide to taking accurate measurements and a checklist card.

Printed Sewing Pattern with additional pattern sheet

The same as the printed sewing pattern option plus an additional sewing pattern sheet. The second pattern sheet copy is perfect for those that don't want to trace or if you are making it in another size.

Digital PDF Pattern

After purchase, you'll instantly receive the digital files which contains:

Printable PDF sewing pattern in sizes A4, US Letter and A0 Copy Shop
Instruction book PDF
Any additional information required to create the sewing pattern.

This is a digital product. You will need to download the files and then print them at home or at a copy shop. The digital instruction book is perfect for working through on your mobile or tablet screen.

The files will be emailed to the email used to purchase the product.

With this option you'll receive the digitals files via email and will also receive the A0 pattern sheet in the post.
