We fell in love with the pattern and colours of this beautiful fabric and knew it would be another perfect match for our latest sewing pattern, The Blazer.
This medium weight fabric checked fabric has a cotton (78%), acrylic (16%) and nylon (6%) mix. The fabric would need to be pattern matched to create a professional finish. We will suggest the layplan to assist in the pattern matching of this fabric. 2.5M provided in the kit is still enough fabric to pattern match.
This kit will provide you with everything you need to sew our new pattern, The Blazer.
Please note that the first three images illustrate the fabric provided in this kit. The rest of the garment images are not made in this fabric but are to illustrate the pattern fit.

Our most luxurious sewing kit yet, this sumptuous fabric and The Sun Dress were destined to be together.
Fruit like dots fabric by Kokka has the most luxurious feel and has the perfect drape for the Sun Dress. Printed onto a rayon/linen mix, this fabric is a dream to sew with.
This kit will provide you with everything you need to sew our new pattern, The Sun Dress, plus we will provide pre-covered buttons in the Kokka fabric to complete your Sun Dress beautifully.
About The Kit
If you already have purchased The Sun Dress sewing pattern, don’t worry, we’ve included an option to purchase the kit without the sewing pattern.
Each fabric kit contains the following:
- A printed copy of The Sun Dress sewing pattern
- 2.6 metres of Kokka fabric
- x4 19mm covered buttons in Kokka fabric
- x1 250m Gutermann thread
- 0.25cm lightweight / soft iron on interfacing
- x1 41cm/16" invisible zip

About The Sun Dress
Perfect for all year round, it‘s a great look for warmer months when you need a dress that‘s smart enough for the office yet stylish enough for weekend brunch. Throw a casual jacket or cardigan over the dress when the weather is cooler.
Team it with some luxury fabric and you‘ll also have your go-to formal dress for a range of occasions from wedding guest to evening events.
The Sun Dress features a fitted bodice with a square neckline, wide modern straps and a button-down front. The bodice has a front side dart and the back a waist dart. A pleated skirt with pockets offers a fun, flattering silhouette as well as comfort and practicality for your day-to-day activities.
The wide skirt hem finishes the look. The dress is fastened by a concealed zipper at the back.

THE BLAZER SEWING KIT - 100% WOOL - RUST (INCLUDES OPTION TO BUY WITH/WITHOUT SEWING PATTERN)

We've found the perfect match for our new sewing pattern, The Blazer. This beautiful 100% wool fabric comes in two colour choices - Rust or Sky. This medium weight fabric has a cream warp with a dark rust weft, giving the fabric a pixellated appearance highlighted by the dark blue, mustard and orange speckles in the fabric.
This kit will provide you with everything you need to sew our new pattern, The Blazer.
The garment in the 4th image is made in the Sky version by our pattern tester, Tess. The rest of the garment images are not made in this fabric but are to illustrate the pattern fit.
