With this kit, you’ll have everything you need to make your very own stunning Blouse plus you'll have the option to add some extra fabric to make the Blouse into a dress! Yes, you heard right - this blouse looks stunning as a dress with a simple belt tie. The Blouse "dress" is our founder Lisa's favourite garment to wear!
This lightweight dotty viscose is perfect for creating a Blouse or Blouse dress you’ll want to wear on repeat. Dress it up or down, this is sure to become a wardrobe staple. Throw on a chunky jumper and some boots and you're ready for autumn.
About The Blouse
Every woman‘s wardrobe needs that go-to top that is stylish and easy to wear. Our sewing pattern, The Blouse, is such a versatile make you‘ll be wearing this all year round. Made using lightweight fabrics, The Blouse offers an alternative option to the traditional shirt.
With an elegant stand collar and three-quarter length sleeves, The Blouse is loosely fitted providing practical ease and comfort for your day-to-day activities while being chic enough to wear in the evening or at the weekend.
The Blouse is made without darts and includes a button placket, collar and elasticated cuffs making it ideal for confident beginners looking to sew their first blouse.

- A Printed copy of The Blouse sewing pattern (or an option to purchase without)
- 2 metres of fabric
- x8 9mm wide matching buttons (navy) - please let us know if you would prefer white. Simply put "white buttons" in the notes at checkout.
- x2 100m Gutermann thread in white
- 0.50cm light weight / soft iron on interfacing
- 1m Elastic
The Blouse "Dress"
- A Printed copy of The Blouse sewing pattern (or an option to purchase without)
- A whopping 3.5m metres of fabric
- x12 9mm wide matching buttons (navy) - please let us know if you would prefer white. Simply put "white buttons" in the notes at checkout.
- x2 100m Gutermann thread in white
- 0.50cm light weight / soft iron on interfacing
- 1m Elastic
Fabric information:
100% Viscose. We recommend using a ballpoint needle with this fabric. Please test on a section before sewing.
Machine wash at 40 degrees.
