About The Pyjama Bottoms
The Pyjama Bottoms are the perfect first sewing pattern for anyone taking their first steps into the world of dressmaking. The Pyjama Bottoms are full-length and have a relaxed fit with an elasticated waistband, side seam pockets and a tie front created with an optional buttonhole or mock tie.
The Pyjama Bottoms have been created with you, the beginner seamstress, in mind. Our clear and straightforward instructions are there to guide you through each step as if an expert seamstress is right there by your side.
From choosing the right fabric to taking accurate measurements and cutting out the pattern, to fabric lay plans, cutting tips and decoding pattern symbols and jargon, we‘ll take you through everything you need to know to make your own Pyjama Bottoms.

The model is wearing the fabric from this kit.
Each kit contains the following:
- A printed copy of The Pyjama Bottoms sewing pattern (if you already have the pattern enter nopattern at checkout to have £18.50 discounted off the price)
- Fabric - please choose from the dropdown menu to select the size range that you are making. UK6-12 will receive 1.5m / UK14-22 will receive 2.7m
- 1.5m - wide elastic 2.5cm or 3cm wide
- x2 100m Gutermann thread
- 10cm lightweight iron-on interfacing
Fabric information:
100% Marlie-Care Lawn • 140cm wide
Machine wash at 40 degrees.
