Workshop Booking Policy

We're looking forward to welcoming you to The Avid Seamstress Studio.

To help everything run smoothly, please take a moment to read our workshop booking policy before making your booking.

 

Booking Your Workshop

Workshop places can be booked directly through our website.

Your place is confirmed once full payment has been received or, where available, your payment plan has been successfully set up.

As our workshops are intentionally kept small, places are limited and often fill quickly.

 

Payment Plans

Selected workshops are available with a payment plan to help spread the cost.

By choosing a payment plan, you agree to the same booking terms and cancellation policy as customers paying in full.

Payment plans must be completed in accordance with the agreed schedule. If payments are missed, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain any payments already made in line with our cancellation policy.

 

If You Need to Cancel

We understand that sometimes plans change.

If you're unable to attend your workshop, please let us know as soon as possible.

  • More than 6 weeks before your workshop: We are happy to transfer your booking to another workshop or date (subject to availability).

  • Less than 6 weeks before your workshop: Unfortunately, we are unable to offer transfers or refunds, as your place has been reserved and it is often difficult to fill at short notice.

 

Workshop bookings are non-refundable.

If you cannot attend, you are welcome to transfer your place to a friend or family member. Please let us know their name, email address and telephone number before the workshop so we can update our records. 

 

If We Need to Cancel

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel or postpone a workshop, we'll contact you as soon as possible.

You'll be offered the choice of:

  • transferring to another workshop or date, or

  • receiving a full refund.

Please note that The Avid Seamstress cannot accept responsibility for travel, accommodation or any other costs incurred.

 

 

Accessibility

The Avid Seamstress Studio is wheelchair accessible with free on-site parking.
