Escape to the Wiltshire countryside with Lisa and Amanda for four nights at The Farm at Avebury, with three and a half days of sewing, delicious food and lovely company.
Some places make you want to return again and again, and The Farm at Avebury has become one of those places for us. Beautifully properties, thoughtful little touches and a welcoming sewing space make it somewhere you can settle in and feel at home.
With just nine guests, there’s plenty of personal guidance, encouragement and time to enjoy your projects at your own pace.
Time to sew, space to unwind
Spend your days absorbed in your sewing, with Lisa and Amanda on hand to help with techniques, fitting and those moments when you need a little reassurance.
Between projects, enjoy a coffee in the courtyard, take a countryside walk or curl up with a book in your cottage. Whether you come with a friend or join us on your own, you’ll find a warm welcome and a lovely group of fellow makers.

On the other mornings, enjoy breakfast at your own pace in your accommodation. Simply bring your favourite breakfast bits for a slow, cosy start before joining us for sewing.
Dates
Arrival: Sunday 12 September 2027, afternoon.
Room check-out: Thursday 16 September 2027, morning.
Sewing continues until 2pm on Thursday, with the retreat closing at 3pm.
Choose your accommodation
The bedrooms are spread across beautifully converted farm cottages, each with its own character, kitchen and living space.
Choose from a self-contained cottage, a private en-suite bedroom or a room sharing bathroom facilities. In some cottages, you’ll share the kitchen and lounge with fellow guests or one of your retreat hosts - lovely if you enjoy company over your morning coffee.

Spread the cost
Payment plans are available, with a deposit followed by monthly instalments with the final payment due 1 month before the retreat. Please contact us here to discuss your payment schedule and final payment date.

Closer to the retreat, we’ll send you a detailed welcome pack with everything you need to know. We’ll also arrange a call to chat about what you’d love to make, explore sewing pattern and fabric options, and help you feel prepared for your time with us.

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges apply:
- 10 weeks or more before the retreat: 50% of the total booking price.
- Less than 10 weeks but more than 6 weeks before the retreat: 75% of the total booking price.
- 6 weeks or less before the retreat: 100% of the total booking price.
Charges are calculated on the full retreat price, including bookings paid by instalments.
