Suggested Fabrics

The Sun Dress is suitable for light to medium-weight fabrics such as cotton, chambray and linen. Consider making The Sun Dress in light-weight striped linen for a classic take on the French Riviera style.

Fabric, thread, 41cm/16" invisible zipper, four 2cm buttons, 25cm/20" iron on interfacing

Fabric needed to make the full bodice/skirt version

UK6 - UK12 = 3.15m
UK14 - UK18 = 3.5m 

* For sizes UK20 - UK22, please use 145cm/57" fabric

The Sun Dress full bodice includes step-by-step drawn instructions. 

 

Haberdashery for the full bodice version:

Fabric, thread, half a meter of lightweight iron-on interfacing, 5 buttons that are 18-20cm in diameter, 56cm/22" concealed zip.
